Thoughts for the Day

Today is a day like any other day - or so I thought. This day, I really thought about what it means to be a Christian. If you think about Jesus walking next to you and watching your every move, do you think he would approve?

I thought about how many times at work people make remarks about co-workers that Jesus wouldn't approve of. How many times I had the chance to stand up for my beliefs, but instead stand silently while the moment slips away.

Will Jesus be happy to see me when it is my turn, or will he sadly shake his head knowing that I could have done more to spread his word.

Take time today - right now - to tell God you will spread his word, and defend him. He loves you so much that he died for your sins - he paid your price. He loves you that much.

The kind words I want to hear is "Well done good and faithful servant."

Counting Down 'til Cornerstone

Hello again world!

Hanging out at home and watching a little TV - not too exciting. Well, it was one busy day today so I'm taking it easy tonight. Everyone needs a break now and then.

Anyhow, as I was updating my profile (new blogger so these things take time) - adding links - I realized that the Cornerstone festival is creeping up. If you don't know what Cornerstone is, check out the link I just posted. It is an awesome festival with tons on bands!! I went for the first time last year and I can't wait for this next one. Last year is the first time I ever heard of Kate Miner. It happened quite by accident. My friend and I were sitting in one of the music tents eating ice cream and staying out of the sun (it was very dry and hot). The next act was warming up so the tent was pretty empty. Listening to this tiny lady with such a powerful voice warm up - just captivated us. We stayed through her show and it was - well - spiritual! I'm hoping that she will be returning this year. If anyone reading this is planning on going to Cornerstone this year, be sure to look for Kate!

While I wait....

Well, technology is great when it works. Right now, it's not working. So I'm waiting for the server to come back up. While I am waiting to do my research, I will offer a few more kind words.

Any Project Runway watchers out there? Tonight is the final show! I can't wait to get home and watch it. Personally, I hope Daniel V. wins although I think Santino has a shot. I'm not sure Chloe will make a strong showing, but we will have to wait and see.
